About Bioengineering Institute of California

The Bioengineering Institute of California (BIC) is a UCOP multicampus research unit (MRU) that provides an infrastructure to support the research and creative work in bioengineering carried out across all ten UC campuses.

  • This marks the second decade that the BIC organizes UC systemwide events, including the summer UC Systemwide Bioengineering Symposium and the UC systemwide Biomedical Engineering Society meeting reception.
