UC Systemwide Bioengineering Symposium 2021
Since 2000, bioengineering departments have joined together for annual symposia (generally held in June), which rotate through the ten campuses. At each of the previous meetings, students and faculty come together to exchange state-of-the-art information and forge research collaborations. In recent years, each of the symposia was attended by approximately 200 students and faculty, with approximately 25 podium presentations and 50 posters. Links are provided for previous websites where available.
The symposium also holds a session for the Shu Chien Early Career Award. Three finalists will deliver lectures during this session, with the top prize winner receiving an honorarium of $1000.
